Terms of use
You keep your own match data, and you can export it or delete it at any time. Use PadelArc to help you keep the score, not as an official record for a competition. We provide the service as it is, and we ask you not to misuse it.
What do these terms cover?
These terms form an agreement between you and PadelArc. They apply when you install the app, when you open the shared scoreboard, and when you read this website. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Apple distributes the app but is not a party to this agreement. Apple's own terms also apply to your download.
What do you need to use it?
You need a supported phone. The iPhone app needs iOS 26.1 or later, and the Apple Watch app needs watchOS 26.0 or later. A watch is optional. The phone alone can score a whole match.
The shared scoreboard needs an internet connection. Scoring, history and progress work with no internet connection.
Who owns your match data?
You do. Your matches, your player names and your history belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us only the narrow permission we need to run the features you switch on. That means we keep your private backup if you make one, and we show your live score to the viewers you invite. Read the privacy policy for the detail.
What are you responsible for?
You are responsible for the names and the content you enter. Do not enter another person's personal data without their agreement. Do not enter unlawful, abusive or offensive content.
You are responsible for the people you invite to a shared scoreboard. Anyone who has a viewer link can watch that match, but cannot change the score. Share it only with people you trust, and cancel it when you finish.
What must you not do?
- Do not try to break the service, to overload it or to get around its limits.
- Do not use automatic tools to create shared matches, connections or accounts.
- Do not try to open another person's backup or to take control of another person's match.
- Do not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content.
- Do not use the service to break any law that applies to you.
We can suspend or end access that breaks these rules. We will act in proportion to the problem.
Is the score official?
No. PadelArc helps you keep the score in recreational play. It applies the rules you select, and it lets you correct any point. It is not an official record, and it does not replace a referee or a competition system.
Check the score yourself before you accept a result. Rules also vary between federations and competitions, so confirm the rules that apply to your match.
Is the service always available?
No service is always available. The shared scoreboard and the private backup need the internet and the company that hosts PadelArc online. They can stop for a time, and we may change or remove an optional online feature.
Scoring on your device does not need the internet. Your matches stay on your device, so you can keep playing when the online features are not available.
Who is responsible for a backup?
The private backup helps you, but it is not a guarantee. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. The app exports all your matches to a file for this purpose.
What is not promised?
We provide the service as it is and as it is available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, without errors, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
What is our liability?
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data that you did not export, or for a disputed match result.
Can these terms change?
Yes. The effective date at the top of this page changes when the terms change. An important change will also appear in the notes for the next app update. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.
Which law applies?
The law of England and Wales applies to these terms, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the place where you live.
