How do you show a padel score on a TV?

Why show the padel score on a large screen?
The four players see the score between points, so nobody has to ask for it. People who watch the match can follow it from outside the glass. A score that everyone can see also stops most disputes before they start.
A large screen helps most at a club night, a league match or an Americano, where many people follow the same courts.
What must a padel scoreboard show?

How does the PadelArc shared scoreboard work?
- Score the match on one phone. Only the current scorekeeper can change the score.
- Share a link or a short code. A viewer opens the link or types the code. The Apple Watch can show the link as a QR code.
- Open it on the large screen. The scoreboard is a web page, so it needs only a web browser. Up to three viewers can watch one match.
- Hand over control if you need to. You can hand control to another device, and the recipient must accept it.
Viewers can watch the score, but they cannot change it. An invitation stops after 24 hours, and you can cancel it at any time. PadelArc deletes a shared match 30 days after its last change.
How do you put a web scoreboard on a TV?
Use one of these three methods. Test the screen before the first serve, and check that the score changes when you record a point.
- A cable from a computer. Connect a laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable. Open the scoreboard in the web browser, and make it fill the screen.
- Screen mirroring. A Mac or an iPad can mirror its screen to an Apple TV with AirPlay. Google Chrome on a computer can cast a tab to a Google TV or a Chromecast.
- The browser of the TV. Many smart TVs have a web browser. Open the link there, and check that the score updates.
Turn off the sleep timer of the TV and of the computer, so the screen does not go dark during a long set.
Where do you put the screen at a padel court?
Put the screen outside the glass, where both pairs can see it from the back of the court. Keep it out of direct sun, because glare makes a screen hard to read. Keep the cables away from the court door, where players walk in and out.
