Privacy policy
PadelArc works without an account and without an internet connection. Your matches stay on your device. PadelArc shows no advertising and does not track you. Your data leaves your device only when you choose the private backup or the shared scoreboard.
Who is responsible for your data?
PadelArc decides how the personal data on this page is used. In law, this makes PadelArc the data controller. Write to support@padelscoretracker.com with any question about this policy or about your rights.
What does PadelArc collect at the start?
Nothing. When you install PadelArc and score a match, the app asks for no account and no permission. Your matches, your player names and your progress stay on your device.
If you back up your iPhone, that backup can include your matches. That backup belongs to you and to Apple, not to PadelArc.
What does PadelArc keep on your device?

What happens when you sign in with Apple?
Sign in with Apple is optional. It exists only so that you can keep a private backup of your own matches.
PadelArc asks Apple for no name and no email address. Apple confirms your sign-in and gives PadelArc a code for you that works only in this app. PadelArc scrambles that code in a way that cannot be reversed, and it keeps only the result. Nobody can turn the result back into your Apple ID.
The app then keeps your sign-in in the secure storage on your device.
What does the private backup contain?
The private backup holds a copy of your own matches. That copy contains the player names you typed and the matches you played. A backup can be up to 4 MB.
Only you can open your backup, when you are signed in. You can replace it, delete it or delete your whole account from inside the app.
What does the shared scoreboard send?
The shared scoreboard is optional. You start it yourself, for one match at a time.
When it is on, the app sends the current score to PadelArc online, so that the people you invited can see it. This contains the score, the serving team, the match settings and the player names you typed. Viewers can watch the score, but they cannot change it.
PadelArc keeps the shared match online, so that a device can connect again after it loses signal. PadelArc deletes it 30 days after its last change. A viewer invitation stops working 24 hours after you send it. You can cancel an invitation at any time, and every viewer then loses the score immediately.
What about Apple Health?
An Apple Watch workout is optional. If you allow it, the watch shows your heart rate and your active energy during the match, and it can save the workout to Apple Health.
Health data never leaves your watch, and PadelArc never sends it anywhere. It is not part of the private backup, and it is not part of the shared scoreboard. You can refuse or remove the permission in the Health app, and scoring continues to work.
Does PadelArc track you?
No. PadelArc shows no advertising, and it does not measure how you use the app. It contains no code from advertising companies or from companies that measure app use.

Does PadelArc store your IP address?
No. When you sign in, PadelArc scrambles your IP address in a way that cannot be reversed. It uses the result only to stop too many sign-in attempts from one place. It never saves the address itself.
Cloudflare, the company that hosts PadelArc online, handles IP addresses to deliver the service. Every internet service does this.

What is the legal basis?
UK and EU data protection law (the GDPR) needs a legal reason for each use of personal data. PadelArc uses two reasons. The first is contract: you ask for the private backup and the shared scoreboard, and they cannot work without your data. The second is legitimate interests: the limit on sign-in attempts keeps the service available and stops misuse.
Your Apple Watch uses health data on the watch itself, with the permission you give in the Health app. PadelArc never receives it.
What are your rights?
You can see, correct, export and delete your data at any time.
- See and export. The app exports all your matches to a file that you can open and keep.
- Correct. You can edit player names and correct any point in the list of points.
- Delete. In Settings, you can delete all your data after you confirm. If you signed in, the same screen deletes the backup and your account.
- Object and limit. Stop the shared scoreboard, or sign out, and the optional use of your data stops.

Does your data leave your country?
Cloudflare works around the world and can handle a request in a place near you. Apple runs its own systems for Sign in with Apple. When data leaves the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, both companies use the legal protections that UK and EU law approve.
Is PadelArc for children?
PadelArc is a sports app for everyone, and it is not made for children under 13. It collects no data at the start. PadelArc does not knowingly create an account for a child under 13. Write to us if you think that this happened, and we will delete the account.
How will you know if this policy changes?
The effective date at the top of this page changes when the policy changes. An important change will also appear in the notes for the next app update. The current version always applies.

Does PadelArc need an account?

How do I delete everything?
Open Settings in the app, then delete all your data. If you use the private backup, you can also delete the backup and your whole account on the same screen.
